I am doing research on identity theft and what can be done to stop it. Identity theft includes everything from stealing a wallet, selling of private information by employees of government and business who have access to confidential information, to forgery of documents and ordering birth certificates of babies who have died. Can anyone point me to jurisdictions anywhere in the world who have some innovative approaches to stopping this or to studies that have been done. Your help is greatly appreciated.
