Do you know anyone you’d like to nominate for the European Special Librarian of the Year Award (ESLY)?
The ESLY award is an annual prize given by the European Chapter of the Special Libraries Association (SLA). The award seeks to recognise outstanding achievement in special librarianship in Europe.
Since the launch of the prize in 1993 there have been winners from a variety of backgrounds, most recent recipients have been Annabel Colley (BBC Current Affairs Web Producer), William Hann (Free Pint) and Kevin Miles (Knowledge Manager, Surrey Police).
Our web site http://www.sla-europe.org/ has more details about the award and nomination process. Closing date for nominations is 31 March 2002. The main award for the winner is an all expenses paid trip the the SLA annual conference in Los Angeles, 8-13 June 2002.
If you need an incentive, there’s a magnum of champagne for the person who nominates the ESLY 2002 award winner.
