Is there a central ISP organisation (OFNET?) where I can protest about ISPs getting together to inflict 'public service' pop-up ads?
I'm waxing indignant today, and have a second complaint!
I've have several popups about the missing Surrey schoolgirl 'milly'. The latest one came up just as I was worried about something else and irritated me, and shortly after, I read on BBC Online News that these popups are being supported by many UK ISPs, not just my own.
I might sound like a regular curmugeon, but if I don't protest now it might get worse, and who in an ISP to judge that someone's distress is worse to me than my own pressing problems?
