 Automatic disconnection of modem

At home I use a modem to connect to the Internet. When I was using Windows 95, I could set the dial-up connection to disconnect if it had been inactive for a certain time. Now with Windows 98 I find the connection remains open even if I exit IE5 or Outlook Express. On several occasions I have returned to my PC to find I have inadvertently been on-line for several hours! Is there any way I can set an automatic disconnection in Windows 98?
