Hi All
A number of you have requested a feature whereby you can store a personalised signature for use at the Bar.
Well, it's here. To set your Bar signature, do the following:
* From the Bar message index (or the top of this page) click on the 'Preferences' link.
* If prompted to login, then do so. It will then save your signature against your account for future sessions.
* At the bottom of the Preferences page you will see a box for you to enter your signature. Put in your couple of lines.
Then, when you come to post a message to the Bar, you will see a tick box to "Include signature". This is ticked by default.
If you want to remove this tick box then simply blank-out your signature on the Preferences page, and you won't be asked if you want to 'Include signature' again.
Hope that saves some time.
I would urge everyone to set up a signature, and not to be shy to include it at the end of any help you provide at the Bar. It's interesting to know who the posters are, and of course it gives you a bit of promotion.
Whilst we're talking about this, you might also like to make a note of the address of the 'Customer Portal' page where there is also a link to your Bar Preferences. You can manage your subscriptions too, and view past invoices, company reports you've purchased today, modify your job alert profile and edit your Pub Crawl redistribution settings. The address is:
