I am trying to find information relating to the overall size of the UK market for information, software, fee protection insurance and seminars within the finance, tax and accountancy professions.
Is anyone aware of any reliable sources of information which could shed some light on how much accountancy and tax professionals and finance departments spend on:
(a) compliance information, ie loose-leafs, books, newsletters and journals, magazines and electronic information services;
(b) tax and accounting software;
(c) professional training/seminars;
(d) fee protection insurance.
I have been given a ballpark figure of a market size of £125 million but need to verify this.
