We have been subscribing to Lexis Nexis on a flat fee basis for a year.
When we signed the agreement we were not informed that after the year we would no longer pay a flat fee and would pay a revised fee based on how much we used Lexis Nexis over the previous year. This would have worked out at a massive 75% increase. We did not terminate our contract within the 3 months notice period, as we assumed we would still be paying the flat fee. We are now on contract which we can't get out of until next summer.
I would be very interested to see if anyone else has had a similar experience with Lexis Nexis and whether anyone could recommend an alternative supplier which we could use for the future.
