I am looking at longer term archiving of documents using CD-R media. I understand that some brands of CD-R discs can deteriorate after as little as four years. I would like to know more about this. Are some brands or types of discs better for this purpose than others? Are there other implications such as storage environment, etc.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks.
