Good morning all

Several colleagues and I have been researching possible database solutions for assessment tools in a medical education environment. We have been in touch with the IDEAL consortium (AKA Hong Kong Consortium) which has a purpose build set of databases for assessment items and question evaluation in medical education, and we are thinking of joining the consortium. However, we would like to hear of any more assessment databases out there that people may have found useful. We need one that handles short answer, multiple choice, extended matching and stem questions suitable for clinical medicine examinations, and would love to hear from anyone who has wider experience with any database that has handled such items OK, especially if they handled image banks too.

Cheers

Ellen
