Our domain is being spoofed in e-mail headers to send spam. Judging from the failure notices we receive the volume must be quite significant. The actual e-mail sender addresses used are frequently nonsensical (eqgxz@.....) , as are the titles and e-mail bodies. Originating servers appear to be mainly Korean, with some US.
A 2000 thread in the Bar suggested a couple of labour-intensive (and not very effective) possibilities such as identifying and approaching the culprits' ISPs - fine if there aren't several senders constantly moving around.
I suspect this is a depressingly common problem. Does anyone know if technology has moved on since 2000, to produce an effective remedy?
