What I mean by working off-line, is that we don't need to do this on an open platform foum with the world watching. You need to e-mail me at Tai-Pan Research and not on FreePint. I will guide you, but I definitely won't do the work for you. You are the student and it is your dissertation. You have identified some good companies to approach. Well done! That's a good start. I have started to compile some links for you, but it is up to you as to how you disseminate the information on those web sites. I know who you need to contact and making that contact is also your responsibility, and you'll have to move quickly as these are busy people. Send me the questions you have compiled so far.
The other research I mentioned should include some database research from somewhere like Factiva or LexisNexis. I would expect you to look to the open market to see what's being said about SOX SEC 404 to gain an overview for your report in the European market and what particular companies think of the legislation. Contact me on my e-mail from now on please. The deadline is approaching very fast and I feel you have left this work very late to complete it on time.
