Hello, I'm searching for information concerning the English situation towards the accessibility of digital (historical) archive via the internet or intranet of a Archival Institution.
For my bachelor archival studies I have to define which archival tools (by example: courses for users, helpguides, searchengines, mindmapping, presentation tools etc.) are being used abroad.
I am especially interested in the use of expertsystems, games (like the sims) and visual representation tools to enhance insight of visitors in the structure of the archive and structure of the tools available (mindmaps with hyperlinks are one tool, are there any more?).

Regards,
Erik de Jong
