 William Hann
Managing Director and Director of Operations
William Hann is the Managing Director and Director of Operations for FreePint. William Hann founded FreePint in 1996 as a newsletter and community for information professionals, and has grown the company to encompass (currently) six sites with a combined subscription circulation of over 100,000 information practitioners, content buyers and knowledge workers. William manages operations for FreePint from the company's headquarters outside of London, UK.
William has a strong background in online information provision, with a first class honours degree in Information Science from Aberystwyth University and having worked for a number of information vendors (including the Financial Times, Dialog and News International). William has received a number industry awards, including European Special Librarian of the Year, Jason Farradane Award, and a Golden Candle Award from the Open Source Intelligence community. William facilitates the annual Dow Jones Factiva Customer Advisory Board, and has done so annually since 2001.
